Do you love getting to know new people? Do you love speaking with others about food and travel, and envangelizing culinary tourism? Perhaps you are located in another country and your passion is to help your area participate in culinary tourism? If you answered yes to any of these questions then a virtual membership sales position could be right for you. The position is based out of your home and is a contracted position. Before your contract begins, you and the Sales Director define your sales territory, targets and your sales goals. You then work a set number of hours per week and provide a weekly report. You must have a good phone voice and speak accurately and clearly the language you will be using. You must also have excellent follow-up skills with a high level of attention to detail. Do you have the sales gene? You have to love sales and be good at it - you know if this accurately describes you.

VIRTUAL FOODTREKKER SALES

Do you have a passion for your region or industry and want to help spread the work about FoodTrekker? If so then a virtual FoodTrekker sales position could be right for you. VIRTUAL FOODTREKKER WRITERS (Local Correspondents)
Do you love writing about food and travel? Are you passionate about your area, or are you a subject matter expert on the cuisine or culinary scene of a specific country, region or city? If so, writing for FoodTrekker could be for you. Local correspondent work is unpaid, but your article is linked to your FoodTrekker profile where media can see your writing style. We get regular calls from media all around the world. Our goal is to be able to refer them to FoodTrekker - and the articles you write - to give you first class exposure that you could not get elsewhere. The position is based out of your home and is an unpaid, freelance position. Before you begin to write, you and FoodTrekker's Editor in Chief define your area of expertise. You may be asked to submit writing samples as well. When you are approved to write for FoodTrekker, your work goes into an approval queue. Once your work is reviewed, it is posted live. You can then use FoodTrekker as your online portfolio to garner the attention of editors and producers around the world.
